The term, “Dallas Market” probably has zero significance to anyone who is not familiar with the lighting industry.  However, to lighting professionals, this term may evoke feelings of anticipation, excitement, happiness, stress and nervousness.  You may be thinking this is a wide range of emotions to describe a single term or, more accurately, a single event, but I can assure you that all apply to the phenomenon known as Dallas Market.  You see, this bi-annual event is where lighting manufacturers, sales representatives and distributors converge to review new product, discuss relevant regulatory and economic challenges facing the industry, plan for the future and have fun with colleagues and friends.  Accomplishing these important initiatives in the span of seven (7) days can be a daunting and exhausting task.

This year, Fanimation debuted several new and exciting additions to the product line, hosted a hugely successful “Fannam” party complete with professional Gangnam style dancers and generally enjoyed one of the most successful markets in several years.   The products unveiled during market exemplify our ongoing commitment to create innovative ceiling fan designs that cover multiple style categories and price points.  Among the most well received designs were The Odyn, featuring an 84” blade sweep, integrated LED light kit and DC motor; Embrace, featuring a sleek close-to-ceiling assembly, 2 blade sets with a 52” and 44” blade sweep included in the box and an integrated light kit with cap included, and; The Beckwith featuring a retro drum light shade encasing a powerful fan motor and blades.  For your viewing pleasure, here is a sneak peak at some of our new 2013 introductions and the wild pictures from our Fannam Party.  Please stay tuned for the complete 2013 introduction to be added to our website!
