What we are looking for:
The eCommerce Specialist, located in our corporate headquarters in Zionsville, Indiana, is responsible for managing product data and content requirements. This team member will manage the evolution and maintenance of product data, categorization, and ongoing data auditing. The position will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate data and product listings across internal and external platforms to ensure a consistent brand experience. You will be tasked with identifying product specifications and details and will be the first point of contact to manage product data issues and requests for product data.
The role is responsible for the online life cycle, from item setup through discontinuation, and will support projects critical to our eCommerce business. Strong attention to detail is vital.
What you will do:
- Review and clean/correct product data to get increasingly better-quality data.
- Review, improve, maintain, and distribute product data files while tracking and identifying needs.
- Introduce new products, enhance, and enrich product information, and ongoing product and pricing updates/maintenance.
- Manage and regularly review content and data on various customer websites.
- Analyze product details to identify selling features.
- Improve the user experience by creating cross-channel consistency.
- Perform ongoing analysis to determine product content gaps and the most efficient methods of enrichment.
- Unilateral Minimum Retail Price (UMRP) policy administration and compliance.
- Manage active, promotional, and discontinued products and related pricing.
- Manage product data and content requirements by uploading, maintaining, and in some cases, developing product data using a number of different methods and software.
What you bring to Fanimation:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing product data.
- An analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to use Excel at an advanced level.
- Initiative, drive, and a proactive approach.
- Experience with Amazon Vendor Central or similar retailer systems preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and demands or balance multiple projects.
Education / Certifications Required: 4-year college degree or commensurate experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Prolonged sitting and viewing of computer monitors.
