The ideal Warehouse Associate is responsible for completing tasks in the warehouse related to receiving, stocking, picking, and packing products and shipping to mass retailers, e-commerce customers and specialty lighting and design stores.

What you will do: 

  • Checks for orders that are to be shipped for that day in the database system. 
  • Makes a pick list for both domestic and international shipments. 
  • Pulls product orders and prepares orders for shipping to include boxing, preparation of the bill of lading and mailing labels, if appropriate. 
  • Rates shipments with logistics companies to get the best pricing for all shipments. 
  • Restocks product in the pick and parts aisles, as needed. 
  • Unloads containers and stocks received products. 
  • Restocks and boxes returned products. 
  • Scraps unusable product(s) as appropriate. 
  • Assists with modifications of products, as needed. 
  • Receives deliveries and makes entries in receiving log for items received and delivers them to the appropriate location. 
  • Helps keep work areas and warehouse clean and organized. 

 

What you bring to Fanimation: 

  • High School Diploma/GED Required. 
  • 1-year related experience in stocking, shipping, and receiving is desired. 
  • Training or combination of education and experience. 
  • Experience and or training with driving forklifts, turret trucks, cherry pickers preferred
  • Experience working in a distribution warehouse environment is preferred. 
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills helpful 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Attention to detail and high quality of work required 

 

Shifts Available: (All Monday through Friday with occasional overtime 

  • 8am to 4:30pm 
  • 11:30am to 8pm  (includes $.50 shift differential)

The ideal Customer Care Representative will be the face of Fanimation to consumers, Dealers, and Agency partners.  The Agent will assist in solving simple to complex issues that occur with fan installation and usage via Phone and Email communication.  Background in call center, retail, or customer service required.

What you will do:

  • Assist and troubleshoot during installation and operation of ceiling fans
  • Assist and troubleshoot programming remote controls
  • Diagnose and resolve technical, mechanical, and electrical issues
  • Receive, document, and respond to inbound customer inquiries
  • Escalate emerging trends to team leads
  • Input order information into ERP and review for accuracy
  • Process and resolve returns, recalls, shipment errors, backorders, order changes/cancelations and pricing discrepancies
  • Process order tracking, status, availability, and price request

 

What you bring to Fanimation:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent ability to communicate through phone, email and with a variety of people.
  • Strong Microsoft and typing, data entry skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems such as Astute, Wise(R4), Accountmate is beneficial
  • Experience with working in a contact center/call center environment helpful
  • Ability to be flexible with scheduling and be open to work overtime
  • Basic knowledge of standard electrical systems and wiring helpful
  • Lighting installation background a plus
  • Commitment to provide an exceptional customer experience for internal and external customers
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task
    • Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to retain and build on product knowledge of over 5,000 SKU numbers

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 20lbs
  • Prolonged sitting and viewing computer monitors
  • Prolonged use of headset and keyboards

The ideal FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST will be the first impression of Fanimation as they greet visitors and answer phones.  He or She will perform a variety of administrative tasks and projects to assist HR and other areas of the operation of the organization.  This role will be part time, scheduled less than 30 hours a week, Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm.

What you will do:

  • Greet visitors and notifies the appropriate party of their presence in the building
  • Answer company phones and directs the caller to the correct department or employee
  • Order, receive, tracks and distribute office supplies as needed
  • Schedule Antique Fan Museum tours as necessary
  • Process incoming mail and distributes accordingly
  • Send meter readings on printers to vendor monthly
  • Assist HR department with administrative tasks related, but not limited to tracking new hire information and personnel files
  • Maintain Conference Room, order/stock water for fridge
  • Other clerical and/or administrative duties may be assigned


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Input order information into the Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) and the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and review for accuracy.
  • Receive, document, and respond to inbound customer inquiries the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Gives timely and helpful feedback to leadership.
  • Escalate emerging trends to team leads.
  • Process order tracking, status, availability, and price request


What you bring to Fanimation:

  • High school graduate required. Associate or bachelor’s degree desired.
  • 1 year of clerical work experiencepreferred
