This month’s Employee Spotlight features, Jeff Wishek, our Senior Project Manager. Jeff oversees new product development and manages Fanimation’s Technical Department. Jeff also plays an integral role in Fanimation’s process improvement and has implemented several cost and time saving initiatives since joining the Fanimation team. Jeff’s colleagues had some great things to say about him:

Nathan Frampton said, “Jeff enjoys finding ways to reduce costs and making processes more efficient in such a way that increase value to our customers.”
What is your proudest moment at Fanimation?
I do not have a specific proudest moment. Overall, I am proud of what Fanimation has accomplished over the years. We have been able to implement several money saving processes and procedures and that is what I’m most proud of.
Where is your favorite place to eat?
It can vary from time to time, but my current favorite place right now is Bub’s Burgers and Ice Cream. They just opened a new location down the street from the office.
Where would you like to go on a dream vacation?
Alaska unless vetoed by my wife.
Tell us three things most people don’t know about you…
1) I was born in Anaheim, CA,
2) I secretly long to be a survivalist, and
3) I really enjoy making memories with family and friends.
What’s on your iPod?
So, I am an Android/Windows lover so I have to confess nothing is on my iPod. I have started listening to books on video. Currently, I’m almost done with “How to Win Friends and Influence People.” It is very eye opening.
If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you?
Brad Pitt, for various reasons.
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
I have been swaying back and forth between wanting a Ferrari or a Lamborghini. Perhaps I would just buy one of each.
What is your favorite drink?
Bacon Bloody Mary’s with good Vodka
If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring?
1) A survivalist book,
2) A hammock, and
3) My travel trailer (just in case the survivalist thing does not work out).
What is your most embarrassing moment?
I recently slipped and fell on the stairs in front of our home due to all of the ice. That was pretty embarrassing and I am glad I did not get hurt. Nobody knew this story as I was too embarrassed to say anything to my family, but now I am professing it to the world!
What is the first concert you attended?
Out in CA, my first concert was called the ‘Weenie Roast’ with several bands, Offspring, Rancid, Nine In Nails, and Green Day. It is really hard to remember that far back.
What is your favorite sports team?
Dallas Cowboys.
