This month’s Employee Spotlight is featuring, Denise Wright, our Accounting Manager.  Denise has thirty years of experience in the field of accounting and extensive knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.  Denise processes new account applications, collection matters and directs communications with distributors and sales representatives.

Linda Kinkead said, “Denise is a wonderful supervisor who is very knowledgeable in all that she does.   She is very helpful and understanding.  Denise is always looking for ways to help up grow and expand our knowledge and abilities.”

Nathan Frampton said, “Denise is longtime, loyal and a willing to do whatever it takes employee. Denise is a team player that is dedicated to her job and keeping everyone around her motivated.”

What is your proudest moment at Fanimation?

I am proud to be a part of Fanimation for over 14 years.  I work with a great team of individuals that are committed to being the best in the industry.

Where is your favorite place to eat?

My favorite place to eat is at friends’ or family.

Where would you like to go on a dream vacation? 

My dream vacation would be a trip around the world.  My realistic vacation is anywhere in the mountains where I can view and hear magnificent sights and sounds.

Tell us three things most people don’t know about you…

1)      I have been singing solos since the age of six.

2)      I have held two “Miss Congeniality” titles.

3)      I have never seen a Star Trek or Star Wars movie.

4)      I have to include this one, as it really freaks me out, the sound of gnomes chinking together.

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you?

My nephews and children have already cast Reba McIntire.

What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery? 

I would say “Are you serious?”

What is your favorite drink? 

It used to be TAB.  However, I just quit cold turkey so I am looking for a new favorite.

If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring?

With the assumption this is a deserted Island, I would bring a life raft, Wilson, and a battery operated radio.

What is your most embarrassing moment?

I have had so many over my lifetime. But, a good one was a three suitcase, three person pile up on the escalator in Dallas.  I knew I was someone’s dinner conversation that night!  (By the way, only a luggage tag sustained an injury).

What is the first concert you attended?

Sonny and Cher.

What is your favorite sports team?

This has varied over the years.  Right now it is the Indianapolis Colts.
