The Brewmaster by Fanimation is a brilliant reproduction of a classic belt-driven fan that was first introduced to the ceiling fan scene in the late 1800’s. As its name suggests, the style of The Brewmaster evokes images of an Old Western tavern where patrons came to enjoy the brew of the bar and the breezes of the belt-driven fan. Fanimation’s modern adaptation of this historic design features a gearless direct drive motor, neoprene belting, sealed ball bearings and hardwood laminate blades. The Brewmaster is available in antique brass and pewter finishes and even comes in a black finish that is rated for damp locations. Although the Brewmaster has an antique exterior, its high tech interior is capable of operating up to four fans, however, more than two fans will slow the motor. Fanimation recommends no more than two fans per motor for optimal performance. Like most Fanimation fans, The Brewmaster can be tailored to fit any individual style with blade options ranging from traditional wood to natural palm leaf. The Brewmaster operates on three forward and reverse speeds and includes two wood and two traditional blade holders.
Old Time Belt-Drive Ceiling Fans

Fanimation has adapted this timeless masterpiece to install and operate with more ease and durability.

  • Neoprene belting replaces the high-maintenance leather belts.
  • Lead and copper babbitt sleeves have given way to sealed ball bearings.
  • Hardwood laminate blades that resist warping and splitting replace the temperamental solid wood blades. The Brewmaster® combines the latest technology with several blade options including the original oversized wood blade design. The Brewmaster® is powered by a gearless direct drive motor, and allows you to operate one or two fans.
